  • Innovation

Just when you thought that every way to play with cards had been published somewhere already, along comes a game like Innovation. With some – dare I use the word – innovative game mechanics and many ways to make sabotage your opponents’ strategy, you probably haven’t played a card game quite like this one before.

  • Blokus 3D

It’s the trend of these last two years to slap a “3D” on everything and double the price. We now have 3D movies that no one ever asked for and that force you to do unnatural things with your eyes. We have 3D televisions just to watch those movies. And we have Blokus 3D.

  • HOP!

Marie Cardouat’s game illustrations have always been in a style fitting for beautiful children’s books, and that is still just as true in HOP!. Beyond the illustrations, the game’s story is equally made for kids. After finding a book describing a magical kingdom in the sky, the child heroes of HOP! decide that they have to see the realm of magical creatures living in the clouds for themselves. And once that decision is made, it is a matter of moments before they are floating into the sky, each carried by a handful of balloons. And just like that you’re in the middle of a dexterity game for the whole family, and prettier than pretty much any other game out there.

  • Concept

Do word guessing games all feel the same to you? I can promise you, this one won’t. You’ll still be guessing words, it wouldn’t be a word guessing game otheriwse. But how those words are explained for you to guess is new and, actually, pretty awesome.

  • Odyssey -Wrath of Poseidon

Nothing is easy when the gods are against you. Especially not getting home across the sea when the god in question is Poseidon. And even less when Poseidon is a friend from whom you just stole the last piece of pizza. That’s the setup of Odyssey – Wrath of Poseidon: up four players are Greek navigators on their way home, one player is Poseidon who feels slighted by the Greek’s victory at Troy. Together, they play an asymmetric deduction game.

  • 2019: The Arctic

In 2019, the Arctic is one of the few remaining areas on Earth with natural resources. Naturally, everyone with a claim on those, however slight it may be, want them. And so the fight for the Arctic begins. But only at first glance is it a conflict between nations – cooperations are the driving power.

  • Oltre Mare

Not every that has merchants as a theme need to be a complex trading game. On the contrary, Oltre Mare is a light game where you don’t worry about the price development of olive oil but instead need to think about the best use of your cards.
