  • Havana

    Havana is a card game with some extra goodies. The goal is to restore the city of Havana to its pre-revolution glory. Action cards are a valuable resource because, once discarded, they only come back when you used them all. Turn order play a big role and is not easy to manage. And worst of all, it’s tied to the actions you can take.

  • Sleuth

    Unusually for a detective game, in Sid Sackson’s Sleuth you won’t care at all for the whodunnit. Your real focus is the whatismissing. And if you played any other of Sackson’s games before, you will already expect that figuring out even that is going to take some brain-sweat. And you’re perfectly right with that expectation, too.

  • Small Star Empires

    The final frontier… Space. The last remaining adventure, vast and (mostly) unexplored. We could go on about rogues, treks and storm troopers, towels, the Force and Lord Helmet – but today we would rather focus on a less mainstream but without a doubt worthy item: Milan Tasevski’s short and easy-to-learn, but still very replay-worthy Small Star Empires.

  • Cheaty Mages

    You can trust mages to cheat. Always. Every single time. After all, what would you do with the POWER OF THE COSMOS™ at your fingertips. But using it to win Monster Rumble bets? That is pretty low. Is there nohing so low those mages won’t consider it? As it turns out: nope.

  • Junkyard Races

    Many here will recall playing one of the many incarnations of Mario Kart on their Nintendo console. Playing with a few people around the same TV was great fun, but had one big downside: it was not a board game. Now, finally, the same kind of fun can be had around the table, with up to 8 people in Junkyard Races. And oh boy is it fun.

  • 7 Wonders

    Despite what the title implies, 7 Wonders is not a civilisation building game but a very strategic card game that only reveals it’s depth after a few plays, and then some. Enough to win awards left, right and centre. And the best part? You can play in 30 minutes!

  • Rampage

    Panic in Meeple City. Giant monsters are converging on the city, and it doesn’t look like anyone is going to stop them. Within minutes they start throwing cars, tearing down buildings and … MUNCHING MEEPLES!
    Will there be a happy ending for anyone?

  • Swordfish

    The swordfish season at the Flemish Cap is seven months long, from April to November. That’s the time you have in Swordfish to build up a fishing fleet and go out to catch fish. Some of you will get rich, others will get wet when their boats go down in a storm. It’s not an easy life as a swordfish fisher.
