  • Floris

It is the Countess’ flower ball, and you are invited. Since the countess kind of digs flowers (not literally, she had gardeners for that…) – you want to bring her the most beautiful bouquet of flowers and thus get the most sympathy points. But beware – the countess may be a bit greedy for the flowery stuff – but excessiveness is not rewarded. After all it is still Noblesse Oblige!

  • Codinca

Abstract games don’t have to be long and complex to be good, Codinca shows that it’s perfectly possible to make am abstract that you can teach in five minutes, play in thirty, and still have a great time the whole time.

  • i9n

i9n, or "Information" is a deduction game that uses punch cards to give new, hidden information during the game. It also adds some strategy and a bit of luck to the mix, making it a very fun game that certainly won’t be the last one to employ this new mechanic.

  • Elder Sign

The city of Arkham just doesn’t get a break. When it’s not monsters in the street, it’s a Great Old One at the museum. And it’s the same people that have to mop up the mess again and play YAHTZEE AGAINST CTHULHU!
Yeah, sounds weird, I know. But bear with me, it’s actually a lot of fun.

  • Imhotep

The problems with building pyramids don’t start with stacking big stones on top of other big stones. Sure, that’s one problem, but when you get to that point you solved a couple of other things already. Like how to get big stones when all you see around is sand. That part of the operation is the focus of Phil Walker-Harding’s Imhotep: get stones from the quarries down the Nile and to the construction sites, on ships you have to share with other architects working on the same project.

  • The Gnomes of Zavandor

Zavandor, the land of gem mining. After Mines of Zavandor, Gnomes of Zavandor is the second mining-themed set title in the fantasy world. Unlike its predecessor, Gnomes of Zavandor has a strictly economical engineat its core.

  • Cargotrain

Trains, pick-up-and-deliver mechanic, set collection. All that doesn’t sound new, the mechanics have been used and even combined before, and there are more than a few train games out there. But Cargotrain takes those simple ingredients and mixes them up into something tasty and fun.

  • Papà Paolo

Naples, the birthplace of pizza, is being invaded. Local businesses selling pizza are under attack by a foreign product: French Fries. Papà Paolo, the master pizzaiolo, is obviously offended by foreign food trying to take over his city. Up to four up-and-coming pizza bakers compete to become the great baker’s successor in Papà Paolo. They don’t actually beat back invading fried potatoes, but they will build their own, little pizza empire. And in the end, that’s what really counts, right?
