  • Bang!

Welcome to the Wild West! You might not want to get to comfortable on your horse and take some cover behind that barrel there, the west is particularly wild today. Not only is everyone shooting everyone else, no one is even sure who is on their side. But in a real Western, that matters less than putting lead in the air, so get shooting.

  • The Gnomes of Zavandor

Zavandor, the land of gem mining. After Mines of Zavandor, Gnomes of Zavandor is the second mining-themed set title in the fantasy world. Unlike its predecessor, Gnomes of Zavandor has a strictly economical engineat its core.

  • Asara

Asara, the city of spires. The Caliph has called 4 famous architects to give the city more spires, higher spires, more colourful spires. In only four years, we are to fill the city with soaring towers, but funds and workers are limited.

  • Machine Mind

In a near and sinister future, machine minds are taking control. Or is it the present already? Plain, old humans are mere pawns in their battle for world domination. Good for you that you aren’t one of them, isn’t it? You’re a Machine Mind, you’re in control. Or at least, you will be soon if you play your cards right.

  • Perpetual-Motion Machine

Perpetual-Motion Machine, the new game by Ted Alspach, has nothing to do with physics, despite the title. Instead, it’s a set collecting game shooting for poker hands, where playing a hand lets you improve one attribute of your game play.

  • The Big Book of Madness

You didn’t get your Hogwarts letter, did you? Yeah, me neither. I heard good things about the Elementary College, though. They have the Book of Madness in the library. Yes, THE Book of Madness. I have heard really, really bad things about their health and safety procedures, but they teach their students how to really work together and deal with a crisis. I’ll apply there right now!

  • Illegal

Games let you play different roles and do things that you wouldn’t do in real life. At least I assume most people playing necromancers in a fantasy RPG, for instance, don’t mess around with the dead in real life. I’ll also assume that most people playing Christope Boelinger’s Illegal don’t really deal with drugs or weapons. That’s the role you take in this adults only party game: that of a distasteful criminal trading his illegal goods for other goods.

  • Qwirkle

Qwirkle is one of those incredibly easy games. You explain it in about five minutes. Even on their first game, new players can grasp the strategy. Nevertheless, Qwirkle is a game that requires some thought – a combination that often doesn’t work out.
