  • Cheaty Mages

You can trust mages to cheat. Always. Every single time. After all, what would you do with the POWER OF THE COSMOS™ at your fingertips. But using it to win Monster Rumble bets? That is pretty low. Is there nohing so low those mages won’t consider it? As it turns out: nope.

  • 7 Wonders

Despite what the title implies, 7 Wonders is not a civilisation building game but a very strategic card game that only reveals it’s depth after a few plays, and then some. Enough to win awards left, right and centre. And the best part? You can play in 30 minutes!

  • Disaster on Everest

Another trip up the world’s highest mountain, this time with a questionable travel ageny. After all, they must have known the storm was coming and could kill some clients.
But you, the heroic guide on the mountain, will try to keep them alive – and still get them up the mountain so the agency doesn’t fire you. Good luck.

  • AquaSphere

Stefan Feld is back, and he’s taking us on a trip under the sea this time. Because it’s better down where it’s wetter. But you won’t have time to watch the singing and dancing crustaceans, there’s science to be done. You only have two people working for you, an Engineer and a Scientist, but together with their swarm of robots they will do science, collect crystals and catch invading octopodes.

  • Heroes

Wizards never live in peace. Wherever they meet, they fight. Heroes is another game to prove this simple fact, and it packs the excitement of a real-time game into the wizard duel, because players roll at the same time, trying to collect the energy to cast a spell before their opponent does.

  • Mondo

Far off from the typical board game, Mondo works on a time limit, players play simultaneously and yet it comes along as not only a kid game but also a game for experienced players.

  • Oss

A game as old as bone. It’s not an expression I get to use a lot, since we review the newest games we can find. But in the case of Oss, it’s not wrong, because Oss is based on the old, old game of Jacks. The game where you throw sheep bones in the air and pick up other sheep bones before you catch the first one again. But don’t worry, Oss is the more hygienic variant of that, and you don’t have to worry about being haunted by ovine spirits, either.
